Cancellation Policies

To better understand our cancellation policies, please read the details below:

Upfront Payment and No Refunds

• All services must be paid at least two weeks before your journey date.

• While we don't offer refunds, we're happy to reschedule or cancel your session and give you a credit that must be used within one year from the date of cancellation.

• Note: Due to high demand, booking in advance is essential to secure your preferred dates.

Preparation and Integration Sessions

• If you need to reschedule or cancel a Preparation or Integration Session, notify us ASAP by emailing cate@prismbend.com.

• If you contact us less than 24 hours before your session, you'll be charged the full fee ($200).

Psilocybin Journey Day

• Email cate@prismbend.com ASAP if you need to change plans.

• Being late could mean missing out on your journey for that day.

• Note that any credits issued must be used within one year of cancellation.

Here’s how credits work based on when you cancel or reschedule:

• Less than 24 hours: 25% credit

• Less than 1 week: 50% credit

• 1-2 weeks: 75% credit

• 2+ weeks: 100% credit

Do I get a discount for returning?

Yes! Returning clients receive a $400 reduced rate on their next journey within one year of their initial experience. This adjusted rate reflects one 1-hour preparation session and one 1-hour integration session. The PSYCH-K gift is not included in return journeys.

This discount applies only if you return for the same type of journey. If switching from an individual to a couples or group journey, or from a couples to a group journey, full pricing applies due to different preparation requirements.

Return Journey Facilitation Fees:

• Individual: $1,400

• Couples: $1,000

Note: The service center fees and psilocybin product remain the same price.

Can I Get a Discount for Referring Someone?

Yes! I truly value word-of-mouth and appreciate clients who refer others to Prism Bend. As a thank you, you'll receive $100 off your next psilocybin journey for each person you refer who completes their full journey with me, including integration, at regular pricing (excluding special rates). This offer applies only to my facilitation services and excludes service center fees and psilocybin products. Please note that the referral discount cannot be combined with other discounts, and it must be used within one year of the referral.

Why am I getting separate bills?

In Oregon, even though psilocybin is legal for use in compliance with the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act, psilocybin is still considered a Schedule I controlled substance federally. Like the cannabis industry, we issue separate bills for different services and goods. You’ll pay Prism Bend directly for licensed facilitated psilocybin experiences and retreats, including preparation, journey, and integration sessions. You’ll pay the service center directly for space usage and psilocybin product.

What if I change my mind about taking psilocybin?

You're not obligated to take psilocybin. If you decide not to, you can still use your Journey Session to work with your facilitator on other things, for example, preparing you for experiencing it in the future.

Can I Transfer Credits to Someone Else?

Yes, you can transfer unused credits that haven’t expired to someone else.

Are there Financial Assistance Options?

Yes, Cate Ritter is a Recommended Facilitator for the Psilocybin Access Fund (PAF), which offers grants to individuals in financial need or from underserved communities. To apply for financial assistance, please fill out our Contact Form and mention your interest in the Psilocybin Access Fund. This program, provided by the Sheri Eckert Foundation, seeks to make psilocybin therapy and services accessible to diverse communities across Oregon.
